The challenge

Hertz approached WPIC Marketing + Technologies to assist in increasing the conversion rate of its online properties in China.

Our solutions

WPIC implemented custom variable tracking and custom e-commerce tracking in China, using our propriety web analytics tool, Chinalytics.

Hertz utilized custom variables to track specific customer data, including the use of promotion codes, taxes, shipping, and how often extra services such as car seats and GPS were purchased. This allowed the brand to gain a better understanding of conversion funnel abandonment, which generated conversion rate uplift.


Analyzing specific customer data, Hertz implemented advanced segments to measure user behavior and conversion metrics. The company saw outstanding improvements in conversions and gained a comprehensive understanding of its customers’ journey.
